One of the southernmost boroughs of London, Sutton covers a large area and is very well served by regular transport to and from London. Trains connect this commuter area to the city via St. Pancras, London Bridge and London Victoria. It does not have its own underground station, but the Northern Line is easy to reach via neighbouring Merton. Commuters and travelers are also able to use its extensive tram network. It is linked to the M25 via junction 8.
It is quite a hilly borough and even so, an extensive cycle network has been developed. The North Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is close by, making it a lure for both on and off road cyclists. There are a total of 89 parks with the boundaries of the borough, including the tranquil Grove Park with its abundance of water.
