Stowmarket is home to about 15,000 people in Suffolk in East Anglia. It is conveniently connected to London and Norwich by train, with Ipswich only a 20 minute car journey away, and is close to Suffolk's famous shingle beaches.
The town is home to a beautiful 14th century church and 16th century vicarage, where John Milton the English poet, used to visit. Stowmarket was also referenced heavily by radio DJ John Peel on his shows, as he lived nearby and is thought to have visited the town a lot.
Those who are interested in discovering more about Suffolk or meeting the famous Suffolk Punch horses, can visit the Museum of East Anglican life, in the centre of Stowmarket. There are lots of clubs for residents to join including a volleyball, rambling and railway club.
