Infiniti is the luxury car make from the Japanese car king, Nissan. The range, which started selling vehicles in 1989 in North America, features a range of models from the Infiniti G, a compact, executive, entry-level luxury car to the Infiniti QX, a luxury SUV. While celebrities have been lending their voices to car commercials for years, Infiniti shunned the trend until they heard the voice of underground music icon Henry Rollins. Eventually Rollins was hired but not because of his persona. It was his voice with no name attached that won him the contract outright.
