Hornchurch, a suburban town in East London, comprises of a large residential area and a number of shopping streets. With a population of 25, 596 it has expanded and forms part of Greater London. It is the site of the Queen's Theatre, the Havering Sixth Forum College and the Havering College of Further and Higher Education.
The Hornchurch Drum and Trumpet Corps Boys band perform all over the country and the town is also served by Bedrock the local hospital radio which broadcast information related to health. There is also a Havering Music School providing local music service and is located on the Winglety Lane. Hornchurch also homes the famous drum and bass record label the RAM Records and the renowned Andy C, Kenny Ball Alex Day and the actress Kylie Babbington residents in Hornchurch.
A.F.C Hornchurch plays as the local football team and the town also has a Hockey Club.
