Often called 'the gateway to Wales' Flintshire is located in the North East corner of Wales. It also shares a border with the English county of Cheshire. The urban areas of Connors Quay, Buckley, Mold and Holywell are all furnished with a range of shops and shopping centres to serve your every need. In addition, with great road links to the rest of Wales and England, many large multinational companies have chosen Flintshire as their base, including Toyota, Airbus, Tata and internet based Money Supermarket.
For those who prefer to get away from it all, the River Dee winds its way through Flintshire with many footpaths and bridleways located along its length, as well as hidden spots to indulge in a little fishing. This is a county of many attractions including some lovely, family friendly beaches and historical and dramatic castles ripe to explore.
