The Citroën C2 was a good-looking little supermini that was (still is, in fact) incredibly popular with young drivers. They liked the low running costs, Citroën's competitive pricing structure and the good availability of aftermarket parts. It was decent to drive too, especially around town (at higher speeds, the steering felt numb) with an acceptable ride. The interior wasn't up to Citroën's best though - the materials were cheap and felt poorly screwed together. The front was reasonably spacious, but the rear-seats and boot were tiny.
