In the London Borough of Wandsworth lies Battersea. Originally a part of Surrey, it is an inner city location, facing the South side of the River Thames. In the present day Battersea is mainly known for its affluence, being one of the wealthiest places to live in the country.
The town has a population of 75,000, due to its easy transport routes to Central London and surrounding areas such as Clapham Junction.
